Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on 16 March, 1984, on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and popular comedians. The comedian has appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better than her stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish actor, writer and stand-up comic. After appearing in bit parts on a number of Irish and British television series from 2009 Bea was able to begin her stand-up comedian in 2011. In 2012, she began appearing on a variety of sketch and sitcoms. Following her prize from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, she became a regular on various panels, and is currently a regular. In 2016, and in 2017, she served as a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan, and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. She was the only female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Her surname is Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh is an Kildare born woman. Her birth date was March 16th 1984. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who took his own life at the age of three. Bea didn't learn how the death of her father occurred until she was thirteen. In 2017 she published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family. She also she adopted the stage name Bea to pay tribute. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were brought up in the same home as Helen Moloney, a instructor and trainer of jockeys who was also a professional jockey. The family was obsessed with racing and horses. Bea started her journey as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that the race industry was not for her.
