Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig 21st September, 1983). 21 in 1983) is a well-known American actor. Particularly, she appeared as Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost television show, as well as Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. She was born in Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of school when her parents divorced to go to Los Angeles to live with her mother. She landed her debut role, as Rachel's Room's main character in 2001, despite having a difficult time financially. She also starred on screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well as, alongside the Liam Neeson character Kim Mills as Kim Mills for Taken. In 2008, she played the same role in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both in 2012). Grace returned to the Lost series for the last two episodes playing Shannon. Grace appeared in Californication's 6th season which ran from 2013 until 2014. The role she plays is Faith an actress who serves as a model for the stars, and draws the attention from Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Gyllenhaal is a member of her family and is the elder sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. The career of her mother began when she was an early teenager, with small role in films made from her father. She also worked with her brother in 2001's famous movie Donnie Darko. She appeared next in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). The leading roles of Gyllenhaal in Secretary, an erotico-romantic comedy, as well as Sherrybaby (a drama) received her nominations for Golden Globe Awards. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008 after many highly successful movies, such as World Trade Center (2006), brought Gyllenhaal greater fame. Following her acclaimed performance as a mother who is not married of Crazy Heart (2009), she received the Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. In the following years, she starred in comedies as well as dramatic movies: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012.
