Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is best known for his performance in the film 'Birdman. He is a versatile actor who is skilled in playing comedy in addition to dramatic roles. He's also played some romantic characters as well as appeared in several action thrillers throughout his career. He was attracted to acting and performing when at the age of teen and tried his hand at stand-up comedy while young men. The show was not an enviable stand-up career, however it did pave the way for an acting career. In order to succeed as a comic and performer, he was hired in the role of a cameraman with an local cable television station. While working at the cable station, he discovered that he would like to be in front of a camera. Through a handful of episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he could land an appearance on television. The natural talents of the actor helped him become a household name on television. In his early film careers, he had high aspirations and was well-known for his comic-book role. The actor gained more fame when he played Batman, the titular superhero in Tim Burton's Batman. Over time his acting ability developed and he was able exploring the possibility of directing and production. The year 2014 saw his appearance as Birdman garnered him many accolades and nods.
