Matthew Matt James, born on December 5, 1991, from North Carolina. James is the child of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. Her mother is caucasian while his father is Nigerian. His father is Nigerian and his mother caucasian American. He was a graduate of Sanderson High School in 2010 and then attended Wake Forest University, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics in the year 2015. James became famous when his role as a reality TV star in The Bachelorette. In 2020, he was chosen to play the role of bachelor in season 25, making him one of the very initial African American male lead which later premiered in 2021. James' fit was perfect for the role as He is attractive, well-rounded, tall personality. Rachael Krakconnell was the one James had picked as his partner through the remainder of the season. Following year, 2021, he was joined with the well-known dancer Arnold to compete in the season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold finished 12th on the competition.
